About this event
Build your skills. Expand your options. Earn your Oregon flagger certification with Westates Flagman in one 4-hour ODOT-approved class.
A flagger card can be a useful qualification for roles with flagging duties in construction, paving, utilities and power-line work, telecom and fiber installation, excavation, public works, logging, tree services, oversize hauling, towing and recovery, and special-event traffic control.
Learn to direct traffic with STOP/SLOW signals, communicate with drivers and fellow flaggers, recognize hazards, choose safer positions, and understand Oregon flagging procedures.
Includes the Oregon Temporary Traffic Control Handbook and a temporary flagging card upon passing the test. Your permanent card is mailed by Chemeketa Community College in approximately two weeks.
$130 per person, cash or check. 9:00 AM–1:00 PM at Eugene Builders Exchange, 2460 W 11th Ave, Eugene, OR 97402. Limited to 30 participants per class.
