About this event

Learn the fun and easy way to compost by letting worms eat your garbage! Our Compost Specialists will teach you everything you need to know to get started with worm bin composting, including bin maintenance, food management, harvesting castings, pest management, troubleshooting, and how to use those wonderful worm castings in your garden.

When: Saturday, November 7, 2026

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Where: OSU Extension Service - Lane County (996 Jefferson St., Eugene, OR 97402)

Cost: $50

Workshop participants will receive:

• One pre-assembled worm bin

• Worms

• Bedding mix

• 1½ hours of instruction

• Handouts

• Follow-up support

Two family members may share a bin and attend the class together.
