- ➤ Egan Warming Centers activated Monday, Jan. 19 and remain on standby today and tomorrow to keep warming sites open in Eugene and Springfield. Organizers are seeking extra volunteers for safety, crew, and clean-up duties at multiple locations + hope for more help. KVAL
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in Eugene edged up 0.7 cents to average $3.05 per gallon on Monday while remaining 34.1 cents lower than a year ago — a survey of 78 stations showed significant price variations compared to nearby areas. KVAL

- ➤ Lane Fire Authority removed an ambulance from service at the Veneta station due to funding loss, which will raise emergency response times + prompt a review of funding and future service plans at today's board meeting. KVAL
