- ➤ Gasoline prices in Eugene fell 2.0 cents per gallon in the past week, with the average price at 78 city stations coming in at $3.56 on Monday—showing a monthly drop of 2.9 cents and a yearly drop of 43.0 cents per gallon. GasBuddy data indicates that the national average also fell and experts warn that if low demand continues from a slowing economy, prices may remain low or eventually rise. NBC 16
