- ➤ Bethel School District announced Monday that Shasta Middle School in Eugene will close either at the end of this school year or next to address a $1.8 million budget shortfall and declining enrollment, with the school now serving about 250 students of its 400-student capacity. - ➤ Bushnell University acquired two properties from PeaceHealth at 770 and 722 E. 11th Ave to expand its College of Health Professions. The 88,000-square-foot building at 770 will grow on its upper floors while the 37,000-square-foot space at 722 will support nursing and lab sciences programs — PeaceHealth will lease part of the space until its new facility is finished.
