FAQ

1. Where is the class?

We will meet in the community room at Central Presbyterian Church in Eugene Oregon. I will send an email with parking details prior to the class.

2. What should I bring?

Please bring:

• Sharp clippers, scissors, or pruners that you feel comfortable using. I will have some spares, but not enough for everyone.

• A water bottle and lunch/snacks to keep you happy for 6 hours. There is a water fountain at the park.

• A measuring tape or ruler if you have one

3. What if I don’t finish my basket in time?

I will do my best to make sure everyone leaves with a finished basket and strap. If you need more time, we can continue weaving a little past 5 pm.

4. I’ve never woven a basket before. Can I take this class?

Yes! This class is great for beginner weavers. I will guide you every step of the way.

5. I have arthritis. Is this project tough on the hands?

This project requires using your hands for many hours. Please use your own discretion when deciding whether you feel comfortable with this. Reed is a more pliable weaving material than others, but you still need hand strength to work with it. I will send everyone home with written instructions, so you are welcome to start the basket in class and finish it at home
