Details: Alice Blankenship and her Baroque ensemble explore intimate chamber music that thrived in Queen Elizabeth’s 17th c. court and the influence that her patronage of music had over the next century. They present works by Dowland, Gibbons, Lawes, Holborne, and Purcell with a nod to the women who supported, curated and presented their music.
