Art show with the fantastic and extremely talented. Grace Eileen.

Watercolor and local artsit, Grace Eileen will be at Hodgepodge from 1:00-3:30pm. Select orginal works will be available to 'ooooh and ahh' at as well as purchase. Prints will also be available.

Come on out and enjoy an afternoon with artist Grace Eileen! We'll have cheese cubes and there will be an art activity put on by the artist.

About the Artist--taken from the artist's website:

I am Grace, an Oregon based watercolor artist. My artistic journey has been all around. Throughout high school and college, my work leaned more illustrative. I got an associates degree in Art and Design with an emphasis in Illustration that gave me a great foundation of almost all mediums and design concepts but geared towards the storytelling and illustrative aspect of creating. After college, I was unsure of how I wanted to continue my artistic path but I knew I needed to first learn to exist in the real world and find out who I was and where I wanted to be. I put art on the back burner to build a life and understand of the world outside of school.

After a couple years creating for myself and loved ones in the time found outside of my job, I was reminded of the peace and joy I get from art. As a naturally anxious person, I found that the only time my brain was still was when I was out in nature, creating. In 2024, I leaned into painting plein-air (“open air” at the location) and haven’t stopped. January of 2025 I took the leap and started displaying my work in galleries, selling at markets, and teaching classes full time. The best part is that I am able to appreciate the beautiful landscapes we live in and connect with others through my art.
