Note: carpooling from meetup site. I will drive, but need some volunteers. post if u can drive.
Great hike by creek that the climbs up to a view of valley. Plan is to park by House Rock campground and follow Santiago wagon road trail. out and back. We will stop at viewpoint half way to eat snack or lunch. Lobster mushrooms and other types found in past! To look at...I'm not a mushroom expert.
My car at least will have snacks and maybe wine or drinks of choice at end by car, relax and socialize. Feel free bring something. optional.
Total miles: 7 elevation: 700-1000, not sure drive: 1.5 hours each way
Bring food, water, hiking boots, coat, layers
