Habitat for Humanity of Central Lane launched its Ramp-Up!

Challenge to provide reusable aluminum ramps (costing up to $7,500) for income-qualified homeowners to help seniors age in place in central Lane. Donations and grants have raised nearly $70,000 since May 11 to support 12 ramp installations planned for the year.

Eugene’s Center for Community Counseling has hosted a support group for grandparents raising grandchildren for nearly two decades at 1465 Coburg Rd, letting elder caregivers share challenges and advice.

The group meets on the first and third Mondays each month under therapist Nasim May.
