- ➤ The Lane Community College board approved $3 million in budget cuts at its Wednesday night meeting to help reach a 10% reserve, but details on program cuts remain unclear. The college will hold public meetings later to gather community feedback. KVAL
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Lane Regional Air Protection Agency advises Eugene and Springfield residents to limit wood stove use during a winter air stagnation event. The advisory is in effect through Sunday and encourages alternative heating methods. KEZI
- ➤ The LRAPA has issued a Yellow Wood Stove advisory for the Eugene-Springfield area, effective now through Sunday, and asks residents with alternative heating options to avoid using wood stoves to help prevent air quality problems. KLCC
