- ➤ Gasoline prices in Eugene increased by 4.8 cents over the last week to an average of $3.10 per gallon (GasBuddy survey of 78 stations). Prices remain 8.8 cents lower than last month and 33.2 cents lower than last year but may rise as supply tightens. KVAL
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Today, 4J school district in Eugene provided guidelines for parents to discuss graphic online videos, advising them to reassure children, validate feelings, and limit social media exposure. The recommendations aim to help families cope with violent content circulating online. KVAL

- ➤ The Lane Transit District unveiled its $11M Phyllis Loobey Operations Command Center today in Eugene to boost transit safety & efficiency. Funded by the Federal Transit Administration, the center uses advanced dispatch technology to improve coordination between Operations and Public Safety. KEZI
- ➤ Concerned Springfield citizens have filed recall petitions against three school board members who approved a 3-2 vote that cut 36 jobs, including 27 teaching positions. Each petition needs over 4-800 signatures to trigger a recall vote in a special election or at the May 19 primary. NBC 16
