ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Fire crews responded to a garage fire at a duplex on Aster Street on Feb. 5, quickly controlling the blaze in 12 minutes and displacing five adults + two dogs as the Red Cross provided assistance while investigators looked into the cause. KEZI
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ After facing backlash from teachers + parents over recent teacher layoffs, Springfield Public Schools Board chair Heather Quaas-Annsa resigns. The board will decide on her replacement and measures to restore stability at an upcoming meeting later this month. KVAL
