  • Lane Community College’s board approved a renewed three-year contract for President Dr. Stephanie Bulger on Wednesday. Bulger said she is ready to start work on the next strategic plan — a step that comes as faculty prepare for contract negotiations.  KLCC

  • Starry Bites is taking part in Eugene’s Vegan Chef Challenge this month by launching three new vegan dishes that invite both vegans and non-vegans to sample and vote on creative plant-based flavors — a beet burger made with beets, lentils, and pistachios highlights the innovation.  KEZI
  • Eugene restaurants and food trucks are now competing in Oregon’s first Vegan Chef Challenge, a monthlong contest running until Feb. 28 & featuring innovative plant-based entrees with an awards ceremony set for March 17.  KLCC
