- ➤ Springfield Public Schools projects a $10.4 million budget deficit for the 2026-27 school year due to low enrollment, rising salaries and benefits, inflation and higher property taxes. The Budget Committee will reconvene on March 12 to finalize projections and consider staffing adjustments. KVAL

- ➤ Oregon State Parks is hiring seasonal park rangers and assistants statewide for the 2026 season (applications open now). NBC 16
