South Pine Bakery celebrates four years of the Grilled Cheese Experience with Chef Jeremy’s crab Rangoon grilled cheese — the bakery aims to raise $30K in sandwich sales for Food for Lane County.

The 88th Annual Oregon Logging Conference is underway at the Lane Events Center today, drawing thousands statewide to explore seminars and state-of-the-art exhibits.

The event continues through Feb. 21 (including Saturday’s free Family Day with virtual forest tours).

Lane Transit District will launch a new Rural Shuttle Pilot on March 2 in South Lane County, Mohawk Valley, Mapleton and along the Deadwood (Highway 36 corridor) using funds from Oregon's Statewide Transportation Improvement Funds to provide essential links to medical services, prescriptions and fresh food. The pilot's funding lasts until June 2027.

Chef Jeremy (known for innovative twists) will create a Crab Rangoon grilled cheese sandwich at Hop Valley Brewery today, offering a playful twist on classic comfort food.

Fans can sample the Grilled Cheese Experience when they visit.
