  • The second annual Eugene VeganFest took place on Saturday at the Lane Events Center and drew over 2,000 attendees with local vendors, food trucks and guest speakers showcasing plant-based options — organizers plan to expand the festival in coming years.  KEZI

  • The fifth annual Retro Game Fest is taking place today at Wheeler Pavilion at Lane Events Center and will continue tomorrow. Gamers of all ages enjoy arcade cabinets, video game vendors, and local developers (including the UO Game Development Club) showcasing both classic games and new projects.  KEZI

HEALTH NEWS

  • A report by the Oregon Health Authority finds that statewide violations for selling tobacco to minors fell from 26% to 11%—with Lane County improving from 33% to 4%. New rules will let the agency regulate synthetic nicotine pouches starting June 5.  KLCC
