- ➤ Average gasoline prices in Eugene increased by 6 cents in the past week to $3.84 per gallon as GasBuddy’s survey of 78 stations shows rising costs compared to a month ago while remaining 35 cents lower than last year. National data shows gasoline and diesel prices are also climbing due to higher oil costs — motorists can expect one of the more affordable summers for road travel since the pandemic. KVAL
