  • Junction City Police introduced K9 Hali (a 1.5-year-old mixed German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois donated by Working Dogs Oregon) to serve as a wellness dog and bring comfort during crises; she will also attend community events with Officer Fanning.  KEZI
  • Greenhill Humane Society in Eugene features Dexter, a 10-pound, nine-year-old tuxedo cat with a cute half-mustache known for his loving nature; the shelter (88530 Green Hill Road) is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for families to meet him and ask about adoption.  KEZI
