- ➤ Three suspects—two teens and one 19-year-old from Eugene—were arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a double homicide that led to the discovery of an adult and a juvenile on May 20 southeast of Oakridge; all face charges including murder and abuse of a corpse. KEZI
- ➤ Lane County Sheriff's Office detectives used new license plate readers and the Eugene Police Department's SWAT team to quickly arrest three homicide suspects near Monroe Street on May 21 — the arrests included two juveniles and a 19-year-old, and no further threat was reported. KVAL
- ➤ Lane County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested three suspects in connection with a double homicide discovered southeast of Oakridge on May 20th—two juveniles and one adult from Eugene were detained by Eugene Police near 7th Ave and Monroe St and at a residence on Irving Road, and officials confirmed there is no ongoing danger. - ➤ Work is underway along Quartz Creek east of Eugene-Springfield to restore its natural meandering path and improve wildlife habitat—contractors are moving rock, dirt and debris from the creek’s floodplain.
