  • The Oregon long-term care ombudsman program is recruiting volunteers to support residents at 60 facilities in Lane County and other care locations in Linn and Benton Counties (no special skills needed) as volunteer trainings will be held soon to guide new helpers.  KLCC

  • Friday night, the fifth annual Asian Night Market celebrated AAPI Heritage Month at the Farmers Market Pavilion in downtown Eugene — featuring more than 30 vendors, 10 performances, Asian street foods, and games.   • The 142nd Wing from the Portland Air National Guard Base is set to perform Memorial Day flyovers over northern Oregon and southwest Washington on Monday, May 25 — passes will occur at several sites, including Eugene at 11:26 a.m. at approximately 1,000 feet and 400 mph.  NBC 16

  • PeaceHealth Oregon's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kim Ruscher, will resign on May 25 as she takes personal leave and will not return to her leadership role at the RiverBend medical center in Springfield; she joined PeaceHealth in 2013.  KLCC
