  • The Forest Service advises that spending Memorial Day weekend outdoors will be best planned through the Recreation.gov app, which lets visitors book permits and check trail conditions. Officials warn that many sites may be crowded and ask that visitors follow parking rules and keep trash bins from overflowing—protecting both wildlife and people.  KLCC

  • Oregon earned their first Women’s College World Series berth since 2018 with a win of thirteen to one over Liberty on Saturday in the Eugene Super Regional as pitcher Lyndsey Grein struck out ten batters, retiring 21 consecutively — she improved her record to 29 to 2.
