- ➤ A man aged 34 from Springfield was arrested Tuesday in Lane County Jail for attempting an armed burglary in the Camp Creek Area—when a resident fired a shot on the ground, he fired back and eventually surrendered after negotiations. NBC 16
- ➤ Lane County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 34-year-old David Anthony Raymond after a shootout near Springfield on July 28 when a resident’s warning shot led him to fire at deputies who used a thermal drone to locate him—armed with a handgun and rifle, he surrendered following crisis negotiations and now faces multiple charges.
