- ➤ On Sunday evening, Eugene police responded just before 10:30 p.m. on East 18th Avenue when 40-year-old Justin Anthony Williams forced his way into an apartment with a history with the female resident and was believed to be armed—a search found a spring-assisted knife, a firearm magazine and a loose bullet, and he was arrested and is held at Lane County Jail on charges including Menacing Abuse Prevention Act, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon. - ➤ On Friday, Eugene police responded to a shooting at the Walmart parking lot on West 11th Avenue where a 21-year-old man died— the shooter remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. KLCC
