  • At least 1,000 people gathered at Alton Baker Park on Saturday night to honor political activist Charlie Kirk — who was assassinated leaving behind a wife and two children — and to call for an end to political violence as local students marched to Hayward Field.  NBC 16

  • Anna Winters, who has stage 4 kidney failure and needs dialysis three times a week, was helped on Sunday when community members organized a car wash to raise funds for a car that would ease her travel for work and treatments—giving her more independence.
