EDUCATION NEWS

  • The University of Oregon student government is launching a SNAP Benefits Emergency Plan to help students facing food insecurity due to potential loss of benefits. The relief week will run November 10—15 and will include food donations, non-perishable purchases, and flyers with a $2,500 allocation from the student senate.  KEZI

HEALTH NEWS

  • McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield expanded its women's care services by adding six new OB-GYN doctors after the Oregon Medical Group team left — the facility began 24/7 obstetric care on Nov. 1. Linda Lang said the change secures consistent care for Lane County families — new appointments are now available.  KEZI
