  • Boy Scout Troop 175 will sell Christmas trees at an Albertsons parking lot on Coburg Road to raise funds for their camping programs — the lot will be open weekdays from 1 to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.  KEZI
  • Families gathered at the 5th Street Market in Eugene for 'Night of a Thousand Stars,' a festive event featuring caroling, Santa visits & local food and drinks that began at 5 p.m. to kick off the holiday season.  KEZI

  • Shoppers at Valley River Center said that they did not find the big in-store doorbuster deals on Black Friday as many offers had moved online—some now plan to shop on Cyber Monday for better savings.  KVAL
  • Eugene’s Holiday Market gives local artisans a chance to earn vital income by connecting with new and regular customers as it runs every weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Christmas Eve with the final day closing at 4 p.m.—helping small businesses sustain themselves during the busy season.  KEZI

  • Oregon residents and visitors can fish for free on November 28 and 29 as the state agency waives tags and licenses—size and bag limits still apply.
