- ➤ The Lane Community College board voted 5-2 on Wednesday to delay the decision on a $16.5M budget cut until Jan. 7, giving staff more time to review a proposal presented only 48 hours before the meeting. KVAL
- ➤ Officials at Oregon Parks and Recreation Department are proposing rule changes aimed at closing an $8M shortfall — measures include raising fees, restricting same-day cancellation refunds, and limiting special passes — with public input accepted until Jan. 15. KLCC
