  • Travel Lane County is considering converting a former Royal Caribbean call center into a multi-use sports facility near north Gateway to boost winter tourism and youth sports events. Officials said they are evaluating other sites as part of the review process.  KEZI

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Eugene 4J students showcased robotics skills at The Lord of the Robots Showcase held Thursday in their school district event. Students with intellectual and developmental disabilities paired with neurotypical partners to build, program, and race robots (including throwing softballs to challenge competitors).  NBC 16

HEALTH NEWS

  • Oregon health insurance buyers face a steep premium increase as enhanced ACA subsidies expire at the end of 2025. Officials say 111,000 residents will lose part of their aid and urge enrollment for 2026 coverage before Dec. 15 & access free assistance for plan choices.  KVAL
